+AI is a signature priority of the Office of the Provost, reflecting WashU’s commitment to engaging with artificial intelligence thoughtfully, responsibly, and with purpose across teaching, research, and service.
As AI reshapes how knowledge is created, evaluated, and applied, WashU recognizes that the ability to engage these tools critically and responsibly is a vital skill for students and faculty — one that can strengthen and accelerate the intellectual and professional capacities developed within disciplines.
This site serves as a central convening hub for the WashU community, highlighting new tools, programs, and resources supported through the +AI initiative. Future phases will expand to connect the WashU community to existing expertise, services, research activity, and campus groups working to apply AI within their disciplines.
