The Digital Intelligence & Innovation (DI2) Accelerator is launching a pilot program providing select WashU students with free access to high-performance computing (HPC) resources through WashU IT’s Research Infrastructure Services (RIS), including $200 in credits, to support research and coursework.
Space is limited. 50 students will be selected.
Who Is Eligible
- Undergraduates conducting independent study or research projects, where the student is the project’s principal investigator
- Graduate students
- Medical students
- Postdocs
The credits may not be used for a faculty-led research project.
What’s Provided to Pilot Participants
- $200 in HPC credits for the duration of the pilot
- Onboarding materials covering how to get started and how to use the resources effectively
- Access to a dedicated Slack channel with RIS staff and student support available to answer questions
What’s Expected of Participants
- Actively engage in the Slack channel
- Troubleshoot and share best practices with other participants
- Share their experience using RIS in a follow-up survey conducted at the conclusion of the pilot program
